Hello,
I have a Sansa Express 2 GB with 01.00.15F2 firmware
I have installed the Sansa Updater 1.041
When i plug my Sansa Express, a windows say : you are in Europe (true)
and a new firmware 1.01.01 is available.
When i click on “Update now”, apparently, the firmware is downloaded, bat
after waiting a while at 100%, the message : "Failed to download the required
firmware files". “Firmware update cannot continue at this time”. "Please try
again later" …
I am trying from 10 days, morning and late … ever the same answer …

does it happen anywhere you take the device to try it on? multiple computers?

I would contact sandisk tech support. they can email you the firmware.

I made test with two different Sensa Express, on three different computer …
In English, I have choice : Europe or Israel ??? same stop after few minutes …
I have contacted the Swiss distributor … no answer …
I suspect Sandisk not support the product …

If you’re downloading your firmware updater here then you shouldn’t have any issues. If you say that you have a 01.00.15F2 firmware then the updater should be compatible. Check to see which options you are choosing. If you find yourself choosing Europe, try choosing Americas and Vica Versa.
