Unclear directions to return a hard drive

The My Book became corrupted (they guessed due to Big Sur) and I was provided a link to return the hard drive since it’s under warranty. But the directions on what to send are super unclear. Hoping to avoid another long wait in the queue and hoping someone has done a return.

Do I include all cords? What’s a ESD bag and do they seriously think I’d have one?

According to this link … you send back the External Hard drive, Power Supply and any cables that were supplied with the product when you bought it.

a ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) bag is only required for Internal hard disk drives only, not External hard drives.

I wouldn’t to get a replacement quickly, with Christmas 3~4 days away and delays attributed COVID
