I had a hard drive crash on my PC. Replaced with SSD and reinstalled Windows10. However this resulted in new name for PC. When I connect my My Book Essential to retrieve backed up docs and picture the Smartware software, which I eventually found to download does not let me retrieve the data. On the Retrieve tab it does not show anything under the ‘Backup Up Volumes’ list, and the Next button doesn’t work. The data is definitely on the drive, I assume it is because it was backed up relating to the oldcomputer name.
