Hi. I’m just bought My passport wireless Pro last weekend. I found that my PC (window 7) and my Handphone (Sony Xperia X) unable to detect my hard drive even wait follow the guideline to setup. Please advice.
Is the Wi-Fi LED light up and turn solid? Are you seeing the SSID being broadcasted and can connect to it, but cannot access the drive via SMB or mobile app? I think it’s you best contact the WD Support team directly for assistance.
Try manually typing in the ssid for your wireless pro.
i have the same issue with my HP all in one desktop which has windows 10. it doesnt discover wd mypassport wireless pro but with other laptop(miscrosoft ) and my mobiles all are working.
