I have purchased the 4TB Elements USB. I just want to use it as an external drive (No Smartware installed). I want to leave it physically connected to TV but I WANT to have to turn it on/off everytime I need and disable the automatic power on/off. Currently every time that I power on/off the TV it start also WS elements.
How I can disable the automatic power on/off?

Not sure I understand your question. Do you have the Elements PORTABLE or the Elements DESKTOP.
If you have the Portable, and if the TV doesn’t turn it on or off, how are you expecting to do it?
If you have the Desktop, then all you’re going to be able to do is unplug it.
I have the Desktop one and I don’t want to unplug it every time
