Greetings. i recently bougth a passport essential se of 1 tb and i manually backedup all my files. i installed manualy the wd ses driver and windows recognized it correctly. then i tried to install the wd smartsoftware and when it begins after a while sendsme a message: cannot find the file: c:\program files (x86)\western digital\smartware\front parlor\wdsmartware.exe and i check for the folder and it doesn’t exist.
i am running windows 7 x64 original i tried to run in compatibility mode, i deactivate the windows user account control y even runit on a windows XP laptoop and it doesn’t work.
the hard drive is working properly but the software doesn’t even installs
