just purchased 500gb my passport essential and have saved all my photos onto it from xp pc. I have purchased a mac and will photos be uploaded to mac from my passport when I plug in?
If the drive was formatted for XP standard is NTFS you will need something like this on the Mac NTFS-3G http://mac-free.com/download/NTFS-3G.html If you don’t use something like this the drive will be read only.
