what type of USB cable does it use and does it come with a cable ?
the SSD plus is not an external drive. It is a 2.5" 7mm hight SATA internal SSD. You can purchase a SATA to USB cable to connect it externally but if you are looking for an external SSD I would suggest looking at the SanDisk Extreme 500 external SSD.
