Hello. I just bought a WD Green 480GB GO, and tried it on several computers, 2 iMacs, 1 Macbook Pro and a Gamer PC and it doesn’t mount on any of them. What should be happening? I think that, with all those tests, I should think that the unit is defective? Has anyone had this happen and fixed it?
If you are trying to mount them using a SATA Raid port,forget it.
They will only work with IDE.
I have 2 new ones which are absolutely useless to me as I only run raid ports.
I have two other brands which mount with no problems.
Utter waste of money,will going in the bin.
Wont be using WD drives again.
