hello,i bought a WD My passport ultra and it has more than 400GB space right now,but i can’t add files,even 3GB in to it,it says not enough space,please help me solve this,thanks in advance
p.s. im using macbook and split MyPassport into 2 prtitions

Your hard drive is formatted FAT32. While FAT32 allows you to use an external hard drive in both Windows and Mac, it won’t accept files larger than 4GB. Try to split your files in blocks of 2GB or less and you will be able to copy then. Alternatively you can format your hard drive as HFS+ (Mac only) or NTFS (Windows only) to copy files with no size restrictions.
