Not FAT32?

we just bought 2 passport ultra 1tb drives to use on a mac computer.

I followed your directions to reformat the drive to work on the mac.

small files can be transfered to the drive, but large files cannot.

I read that the FAT32 format will prevent any files larger than 4 gb from fitting.

Is there a way for me to format the drive in a manner that they can use the drive to move large video files?

thanks.

Yes, sure, there are plenty ways. Why won’t you format your drive into MacFS (journaled), exFAT or, on emergency, NTFS?
