SmartWare Password Forgotton

Hi. I can see my Cloud Drive and can access the files on it, but when I open SmartWare to initiate a Backup I’m asked to enter a Username and Password. I don’t recall having ever set one, but probably did. I’m not sure why it’s now asking for this as it’s not asked before. The only difference may be that I used to connect to the drive from my PC to my BT Router via wifi (the drive is hardwired (Ethernet) to the BT Router), now my PC is hardwired to the BT Router.
Is it possible to get a new password or turn that function off?
Any help would be appreciated.

WD SmartWare is asking for the credentials associated with the Share you’re using to store the backup. If you are certain the target share is a public share then access your WD My Cloud’s Dashboard and create a dedicated Username and password for the WD SmartWare share and ensure permissions are properly assigned.
