What do you think, is it possible that SanDisk launches a slotMusic Player with a display? This would be exactly what I search, small, light and with as much space as you need.
Who ME? NO! Nothing against JK98 but Its one of the few things I agree with him on. I would prefer a rechargable built in battery on my Slotmusic. I just think a screen would be nice.
If you want a card slot and a built in battery, there is the Fuze, or the new Slotradio player. Some of us want a card slot, and the use of a AA or AAA battery though.
I have a Fuze, a Clip, A Connect, and a slotmusic, I bought a view but returned it. Im just saying if the Slotmusic had a built in battery and a display i may have bought 2-3 of them for people like my grandparents.
Bought Fuze to use along side my slot player. Love it. Gives you display and rechargeable battery. Figure the Clip will get card slot and will do what you want some day.
What is the point in having more than one mp3 player CB? I don’t get half the people on here that do it. Your job might require it, but why would anyone buy a Clip if they have a Fuze? The clip isn’t much more cheaper and is no where near as good. Then, there’s pretty much the useless SM player, which I don’t know why anyone with a Fuze would buy one of these. I’m not sure why you recently bought a View and returned it. It’s like a Fuze but without good support.

I will break it down for you:
My Fuze 2 gig with 2 gig card: My Primary player, goes with me everywhere
My Connect 4 gig with 1 gig card: Used for Podcasts and Video only. I like to take it with me when I fly. Stays at home on the desk most of the time
My Clip 8 gig black: Is loaded with a ton of music, It stays at work most of the time, and serves the primary function of going with me to formal functions, it is small enough to hide and with my clear IEMs its virtually undetectible, and yeah this is one of those needs of the job, I have to go to meetings where I sit in a board room and contribute nothing, so why not get some listening done.
Slot Music, Is hooked into my Sterio, I use it for playing podcasts and the like on the sterio, I also have cards loaded up with new music that the company I work for may be interested in we have weekly and some times daily listening partys in my office, and instead of loading my pleyers up with potential ■■■■ I would rather use a card and the Slot music.
I returned the View because I was able to get another connect dirt cheep. I needed to retire my origional (Battery was goin bad) so I bought a View. A Friend who also had a connect came to me when his screen cracked, I gave him $10 and scrapped his player out for the battery and stuck it in my Connect.
Its how I like to do things. Any Questions?

The connect doesn’t have a scroll wheel though and must take forever to scroll through that many songs. I still have my m200, I don’t use it now, but I know how long it took to button scroll through the songs.
“If you hold the button down on the Clip it goes into a turbo-scroll.”
Yes, but then it becomes easy to overshoot what you are trying to reach. It would be nice if a player the size of the Clip( or perhaps just a bit larger) could have a scroll wheel and a micro SDHC card slot. My first preference though would be a player that runs on a AA battery(or else a AAA battery), has a card slot, and a scroll wheel. I realize this would make the player larger, however the extra size would be worth the convenience of a replaceable battery. As a compromise, a AAA battery could be used instead. I can’t figure out why the Slotmusic player is so heavy, and so much thicker than my old AAA battery based player(which is only very slightly thicker than a AAA battery).
