Setting up a password on a new Passport SE

I just had to replace my old Passport SE because it was starting to fail and when the new one just arrived, I tried to set up a password on it (I used to always have to click on a WD Unlock button & type in my password), but can’t seem to find this option anywhere??   Went into WD Smartware & the Settings options only give options for ‘Sotward Settings’ and not ‘Drive Settings’ (where I think the security/password options are supposed to be located??).

Make sure the drive is been recognized by the computer.

You can go to " Computer " and see if the drive shows there.

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the drive and follow the steps on the link bellow to setup security.
