SANSA FUZE OR VIEW??

HI ALL,

DONT KNOW WHAT TO BUY, THE NEW FUZE OR THE OLD VIEW.
PLEASE HELP ME.
THANKS.

What is your priority?  Do you want to primarily watch videos or listen to music?

The view is optimized for watching video, in that it supports more formats and is easier to load video on.  However it still uses the old portaplayer system on chip for music playback, so it’s quality for playback is on par with the older E200 Version 1 and E200R players.

If quality playback is your priority, the Fuze is better because it uses the same chipset that is on the Clip.  This is a very fine system for audio playback, but it’s video support is limited, and as such the Sansa Media Converter is the only way to get video on the device.  Since it uses a proprietary format, the videos are quite large and harder to move to the player.  The Fuze video functions should only be used for smaller videos (like music videos or You Tube stuff…)

With a future firmware upgrade, the fuse will also support FLAC and OGG VORBIS formatted tracks, which provide much better fidelity than common MP3’s or WMA’s.

So the choice is yours.  Do you want a Music Player.  If so, pick the Fuze.  Do you want to watch DVD’s or TV Shows?  get the View.
