I bought a Kingston 8 GB microSDHC card and tried it in two of my Sansa Fuse players. I clicked My Computer, then Sansa Fuse, there was no external card info showing, only internal . Is the problem most likely related to the Kingston card or Fuse player?
Go to Settings/System Settings and change the USB Mode to MSC. Your computer should see the Fuze as one drive and the card as the next driveletter in the alphabet.
Otherwise, it could be the card. Can you try it in a camera, phone or cardreader and see if it shows up?
Thank you for your help. I tried MSC (USB mode). It did not work. I don’t have other gadgets which use micro SDHC. I have to find somebody who can try the card for me. But I think it is a bad card.

Please explain further. This says nothing that will help someone help you.
Here is what I tried. I went to Settings/System Settings and changed the USB Mode to MSC. My computer showed Fuze (F:).When I clicked on it, it showed all the files in the internal memory card. No external memory card. When I switched the USB Mode to MTP or Auto, My Computer showed Fuze and a picture icon. If I clicked the icon, it would show Internal Memory. Fuze does not read the Kingston microSDHC card, or my computer does not show the external memory card, or it is a bad card. I just don’t know. I tried the card on both Fuze players and got the same results.

Im sorry to ask this question, but do you feel it click when you insert the card indicating that it locks in? Also did you check under Settings > System Settings > System info if shows the card? If it doesnt show under System Info, the card is ineed a bad card. Did you get the card from an online store?
When I insert the card, it does click. It also feels like it has a spring inside slot. The System info does not show the card. I did buy the card from an online store. It seems like this is a bad card. I think I will buy a new card from local store. Thank you for your help.
Legitimate online sellers like Newegg and Amazon have good prices on cards. Ebay, beware.
Thanks. I tried the card in Canon camara and got “memory card error” message. I can not fomat the card either. This is a definitly a bad card.
