I have bought a 64gb usbstick sandisk usb 3.0 ultra fair 150mB/s (read) and 32MB/s write.
I have encrypted it with bitlocker (due to a company policy)
When encripting with bitlocker, it starts encripting up to 99.x% until it stops forever.
When writing, it starts writing at speeds (variable) of up to 10 MB/s, but randomly, every five seconds or so, it starts to write slower until it stops for a few seconds (writing speed 0 mb/s), and then it starts again.
If I try with other sandisk extreme pro drive I have (encrypted with bitlocker too, in the same computer, and in the same usb plug) encripting, it doesn’t stop at all and the writing speed is, in average, about 30 MB/s.
Is this normal with bitlocker?
