sandisk 64gb card

I’m using a 16 gb Fuze+ and a 32 gb “HC” card. I’m almost at capacity. I’ve seen Sandisk’s website is selling a 64 gb “XC” card.

Has anyone tested if it is fully compatible with the Fuze Plus right now or will we have to wait for another firmware upgrade?

It’s been suggested that it’ll work if you format the card as FAT32, but as far as I know no one has confirmed this.

well considering the amount of money I’d have to drop, I’d like to hear somebody from Sandisk confirm it does work before I get one.

Although not quite as convenient as having your entire music library stored on 1 card, you can buy several 32GB SDHC cards for the same money as they want for the new 64GB SDXC card. Much more storage capacity for the same (or less) money.

Prices will come down on this new card, but you have to be patient. The 32GB cards were close to this price ($200) as well when they came out. Now they’re around 30 bucks or so.

Officially only SDHC is supported, so they’re going to say no. It’ll probably work anyway though.

According to the MANUAL(6.2) 40G is the max.

well i’m after the convenience of having my entire library on 1 device. that’s why i’m weighing whether to get a 64 gb card or much as i would hate it, just bite the ipod bullet.

Buy a second player, and put a 32GB micro SDHC card in it. A 2GB Clip+ is only around $30 on Amazon. You can get a 2GB Clip+ and two 32GB micro SDHC cards for around half the price of a 64 GB micro SDXC card.
