SandDisk drive deleted file rescue

My mom yesterday deleted some files and folders that she though they all were useless on her computer. But, when I tried to using her computer, I found that she also deleted one of my folders that were full of images of last year. When trying to bring them back from the Recycle Bin, my mom said she had emptied it after that deletion. How unlucky I was! But, I still want to know whether these files could be rescued from the Windows 7 computer Recycle Bin. Do you have any idea for that? Do I have to accept this fact just like that? Thank you for any idea!

Before you read any further, remember this: DO NOT WRITE ANY MORE TO THIS DRIVE UNTIL YOU ARE DONE WITH RECOVERY.

When a file is deleted, it is not actually removed from the drive. The drive keeps an index that says file XYZ is at these sectors on a hard drive. Instead of removing the underlying 1’s and 0’s from a drive, a drive simply removes the index to those spots on the drive and treats it as free space. Over time, it will be overwritten, and the original data underneath would be impossible to retrieve.

The more you write to a drive you are trying to recover, the less you will have a chance of recovering files.

Hence, to avoid overwriting, leave this drive alone and try some data recovery software to save your needed data back, like iCare Data Recovery Free, Recuva, TestDisk and EaseUS Data Recovery, etc.

Hey! Keep the below tips in mind as you proceed to recover drive folder:

1). Nothing is guaranteed. Any improper operation can make your drive data irrecoverable. Moreover, even if the data shows as recoverable, you may find some or all of these drive images to be corrupted and irrecoverable. So, there is no guarantee that you can completely get everything back.

2). Do NOT perform any write processes on the drive. Just leave this drive alone and avoid writing anything new on it. Any form of write to the source drive can increase the complexity of the recovery.

3). Apply some drive data recovery software to rescue your needed data as much as possible.

Here is video that can tell you more about deleted data recovery:

If the data is extremely important for you, you may also spend some money to regain them when this video makes no change.

NO matter what happens again, never forget to make data backups on different devices.
