Rockbox database: Load to RAM - effects on battery?

I’ve found that, by enabling the option in the title, the database menu on my Clip+ becomes a lot more responsive, with no delays whatsoever. This pleases me, as I’m annoyed by the normal menu’s half-second delays whenever I select something. My question is: does this eat a significant amount of battery power? The rockbox wiki says that enabling database to RAM eats some power; however, I’m not sure how much is the real-world difference. If it’s just a few minutes I’ll keep it enabled, if it’s hours… not.

I doubt it makes much difference on a flash player.  Hard disk players tend to need to conserve ram to avoid spinning up the disk often.
