Recording Radio on the Sansa Clip+

Can the Sansa Clip+ be programmed to start and stop recording at certain times? How much space would recording say a 3 hour radio program take up?

Can you listen to a song and record the radio at the same time?

Does it only have an FM tuner?

  1. Not to my knowledge

  2. About 57mb for 10 minutes, seems not to matter much if voice or music, thus something a little over 1gb for 3 hours.

  3. Yes

  4. It doesn’t have AM if that’s your question, not sure why but seems to be lacking in other brands also. Not sure how much demand for AM these days.

Too bad it records FM in wma, since it often skipps and loses notes.

Wish i could change it to mp3 at 60 mps, lectures take hours to record.

wma uses way too much space for lack of consistency in recording.

OH WELL, guess I should have bought an Ipod.

It doesn’t. It records in .wav format.

And as it records in wav format, there shouldn’t be any “skipping,” right?  Most likely, then, an fm reception issue?
