Problems with MacBook Pro and WD MyBook 3tb & El Capitan

Not drive related. Just upgraded to El Capitan, and now have only read only access to drive.  Cannot copy files or folders from computer to HDD.

Drive is formated ntfs, and has never had problems connecting to either Mac or PC  until today.  Can copy files from drive to computer

Hi, usually Mac computers would only read NTFS drives and not be able to write to them unless you had a third party software installed or the drive was formatted in FAT 32 or ExFat. 

Do you remember if you had a third party app to read NTFS on your computer?
