problem with sandisk extreme protable SSD, no enugh data space on drive

Hi, on my new sandisc there is no enough space, to backup my photos and i did not backup any thing
kindly help

The following steps may help resolve the issue:

  1. Update the hard drive driver

Press the Start button, type Device Manager in the search box, and hit Enter.

Expand Disk drives, right-click on the hard drive with the incorrect capacity, and choose Update driver.

Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

  1. Reformat the USB drive

Please note that initializing or formatting an external SSD will erase all the data on it. Be sure to back up any important files before proceeding.

  1. Run the CHKDSK tool to check for errors
    Open the Start menu, type cmd, right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator. Then run CHKDSK command to check for bad sectors or file system errors.
