Not all files/Dirs copied

Hi, I just bought this drive with it’s Software. After installation I fisrt updated the firmware and software.

Then I tried to set it up - which worked. I creted thereafter some directories. A while later I inspected the contents of the dwstore folder. All files which are user dependent where in, some other directories where missing, in some directories some files are missing. Any explanation for this ??

WD SmartWare is not a complete backup software, if it is done bay categories there will file types it will skip.  You can try doing a backup by specific files and folders:  How to backup specific files and folders using WD SmartWare
