I know it’s kind of silly, but I’m very **bleep** about how my monitor looks and displays. I have a 1TB MyBook external hooked up via USB2.0 (running Windows 7) and the drive installed fine, and works fine, but when I open up “My Computer” I don’t have a nice WD logo or even a drive icon, I get the Windows “broken image” icon… and it’s nasty to look at, lol.
I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling, and after it installs the correct icon shows up for a minute, then after I open the drive for the first time it never returns. I’ve tried changing the icon but the change never takes.
Any idea what I can do to get that stupid icon to show back up??
