hi i have a 500gb passport hdd that i use to periodically back up music/photos etc. recently my laptop developped problems so i purchased a new one windows 8.1(dont like) after retrieving to the new laptop i cant see any of the files it just keeps saying i dont have permision to access the files yet i am an administrator,if that makes sence. i am getting worried as all our familly photos and vids are on here, can anyone help please.
