Need WD Passport help

I recently bought this WD passport.

I bought it only to use for my xbox 360, but when I plug it in to my xbox it only has 32 gb to use. I have tried to format the WD passport to FAT32, but when I plug it in my xbox and configure it to make compatable it says 32 gb again.

Am I doing something wrong?

How are you trying to formatt and what OS are you using? It’s the FAT32size  limitation causing the problem so you probably need  a third party tool like EaseUS Partitin Master http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm This may help too

I tried the DOS method, and being impatient as I am, when it was still at 0% at 10 minutes I stoped and tried a different method. I used the Verbatim SmartDisk method, and it formated with ease, but when I pluged it in to the xbox, and then configured it, it only had 32gb to use. This is what I had done yesterday to try and format it, I haven’t tried the other methods yet.

I am using windows 7.

I am also not familiar with any of this, so I fear I am doing something wrong somehow.
