Hey guys! I’m trying to decide between the MyBook or MyPassport 4TB for my Xbox One. I’ve read a ton of positive reviews on both and I’m just curious about the reliability of the two drives for this application. The drive would get a good amount of use, and I’m worried that the constant startup and shutdown of the MyPassport might cause wear over time. On the flipside, the MyBook is designed for constant power but that the AC port is just something else that may fail. Let me know and thank you in advance!

In my experience, it would be good with either, i was using my Xbox One with a portable drive, then switched to a My Book Duo and had no problems with it, lets see if another user can share some information or tips on this matter.
WD make a HDD designed for the Xbox One … but it’s only 2TB
