MyBook Studio (mac: smartware) WILL NOT TURN ON

Opened it up last night, plugged everything in and boom, was awesome. it did what i wanted it too. Sweet.  now to bed and get started on a long project tomorrow, right? WRONG.

got up turned everything on except the MyBook will not turn on…

unplugged everything, connected again, different outlet, pushed the button in the back, held it for sometime, and it will not start up.

HELP?

so while fiddling with this thing and reading other posts the drive fianlly turns on, I am removing all my files and returning it to fry’s and looking at another company… WD used to be the bomb when it came to HD’s I have 5, well, 4 now , returning this one.
