Ok, looks like a DOA, but thought I’d ask to make sure I haven’t done anything totally stupid.
This is a 2TB Mybook Studio II. Hooked up to a 17" MBP through FW 800.
However, the basic problem is there is no power to the drive at all. I have plugged in the AC adapter into the wall and into the proper DC power jack on the back of the drive. When I press the power on button above it on the back of the drive…notta. Nothing.
It really should spin up at that point, shouldn’t it?
Have I missed something?
Brand new drive. Out of the box 15 minutes ago.
