I am writing this in order to get help on my data to be recovered on my wd hard disk - passport essential.
I hope I can get some help.
I have shown my hard disk to various people for recovery but I have not been able to receive much help.
These are some of the problems that I have found out with my HD.
- The PC board card is damaged.
- I have been told that there are a couple of scratches which is visible on the media.
- The head assembly is broken as it has been told to me.
The data is very important to me. I have been told that i will have to get the same hd with the same model number and firmware in order to get a recovery done. but its very hard to find the same firmware. can anyone please help me out on a solution ??
Could you please help me if my data could be recovered or not.
Also could you help me with the procedure ??
