I have My Passport Ultra (bought it 10 months ago). I tried to do a format and it stopped working. The light works, I can see its driver icon in the explorer, but I cannot open it. I know that WD drives come with 2 year warranty, does the warranty cover this?

What error do you get when you try to reformat the drive on the computer? Try to reformat the drive on a different computer to see if you get the same outcome.
