My Passport - Recognition of Files on one computer (Both Windows7)

Hi everyone. I’m uncertain who to turn to. Basically I can’t load files onto the drive (sometimes they are not even recognized), but I can from my other computer.

What should I do? Reinstall some drivers on the computer that doesn’t recognize it? Reformat the drive?

There is nothing that I need off the drive. I just need to get it back working so that I can use it for backup.

Let me see if I understand… you can see the drive on both computers but the files only shows in one?

If that’s the case can you please try to copy files from the computer to the drive on the computer that you are not able to see the files.

Please let me know what it says.

It just initializes and then eventually stops or sometimes it’ll freeze and crash explorer.

I’ve attempted this a few dozen times. :frowning:
