Hi, My drive backed up everything OK when first installed, then did nothing more even though it was set for continuous backup. Tried updating firmware and software to no avail. Erased disc and started again-same thing happened. After ripping new music to my computer drive, WD smartware briefly recognized the new data total in the data source backup column, but then the total reverted back to what was showing before. It is behaving as if there is no new data to backup.

Are you able to uninstall the software from the computer and download the latest version from the WD Support site.

Hi,
Your suggestion was correct thank you, the software update sent out by WD this morning solved the problem. After my post I examined the contents of My Passport and realized that backing up was taking place, the images on the Passport software interface were not showing any changes in data either in the source disc or the the My Passport disc before the software update.
