I have a passport ultra which i purchased a day ago. Everything was working fine. but today when i plug it in and type in the correct passport. it says the drive is unlocked. but the actual drive “my passport” does not show up! only WD unlocker is there. how do i fix this?
I am using win 8.1 64bit. I have tried the drive on a laptop running win 7 and my passport pops up so im guessing its some sort of issue with the win 8.1 software.

It is possible the computer is not providing enough power to spin up the drive. Make sure you use the USB cable that came with the drive since larger cables can cause this issue.
