I have a 4TB My Book external drive that I bought back in 2015. I last ran a successful back-up in August, 2017 and tried to run another one this week.
Unfortunately the “Backup Now” prompt and “WD Backup” application won’t launch. I’ve tried updating, uninstalling & reinstalling, shutting down & restarting as well as checking USB & power cords.
I’m running Windows 10 on a PC.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I’ve searched other threads with similar problems and not seeing any real solutions.
