A week ago, I realized the hard drive was not plugged in. I plugged it in, started the software and checked for an update (it said none available). I started a backup a week ago. The progress was very slow but eventually the status was “327.73 GB of 303.26 GB copied” which is what it has been for about 24 hours. I’m using windows 11. According to the WD instructions the backup is supposed to finish and give a list of files it could not copy. The instructions say if you manually stop the backup, it will not save the backup. What can I do so the backup will finish? Is there a software update? if so how do I find it? It seems very slow (6 days to back up 327 GB); is this normal?
