My book power supply is lost!

I recently moved to india. But apparently i cant seem to find the Power supply of my WD hard drive, My Book essential.
I am looking forward to buy a new one. Does anybody know where could i find one. And should i buy an adapter that is given out by WD or one that is made by a different company.

Also, i found one particular company that makes power supply for WD but the power supply is for the product under the P/N WDBACW0020HBK-nesn and mine is WDBACW0020HBK-01. So is it okay if i buy this one ?

Please help, its been over six months since ive been trying to get one.

You should be able to find one at the WD Store, and if not, call WD Tech Support.

The -NESN version is the -01 product with the -NESN region, which means it’s for NORTH AMERICA.
You’ll need the -BESN region for India, if I recall correctly.

The difference is the plug type.

it’s either PESN or SESN (dunno, i failed geography at school) :smile:

if you google WDBACW0020HBK-BESN … you’ll find nothing BESN
