I have a WD external hard drive purchased several years ago that has stopped working. Sometimes it shows up on my computer, but stops responding when I try to access files. I have years of information stored on here and would like to find a way to access it. Any ideas? Thank you.

I’m sorry to read that you are unable to access your information. Have you tried to connecting the drive with another USB cable? Have you tried connecting the drive on another computer?
