Hi i want to buy a new external hard drive usb 3.0 for mac but i need to know if the My Book for Mac is 7200rpm because is cheap and it is fast, if it is 7200rpm, i don’t need to buy the Studio that is more expensive.
and, what is the difference between both, only the metal enclouser for the Studio version?, or it is more fast or what?.
You wont be able to find that information unless you open the my book, and that will void the warranty. But just in case it doesn’t really matter what hard drive is inside the case, the transfer rate will be the same.
