When going to unlock my hard drive using the WD Unlocker, I am told “the drive is not locked. To unlock a different drive, please open the WD smartware CD associated with the desired drive, and then run the unlock application to unlock the drive.”
I was not provided a CD with the hard drive, the WD Smartware was installed from the hard drive.
I set up the password yesterday using WD Smartware and had no problems, locking and unlocking the drive.
Since completing a back up with time machine, I am having this problem.
The drive is not visible when opening WD Smartware.
Please advise on what to do.
