Moving Large Files to my WD Elements

Now that I am collecting movies to load in iTunes to play on my Apple II device, I have noticed that files larger than 4GB won’t load into iTunes.  I have also attempted to move the file(s) manually from my Windows 8 Pro OS onto the drive directly.  I get a error dialog box saying there is a limitation.

How can I resolve this?  I have a number of HD movies well over 4GB.

Because the drive is formated to fat32, this format enables you to use the drive in both windows and mac. However it has a limitation of 4gb single file tranfer, means any files greater than 4gb cannot be transfered to the drive. You can compress or cut the file using zip applications.
