Memory Zone does not detect my passport SSD

Hi, I just downloaded memory zone to windows. My operating system recognizes the SSD with no problem. It’s a new disk that I wanted to create a password for.
The problem is that the memory zone doesn’t recognize My passport SSD even though it’s compatible with the software (I checked).

what can I do?

@Hof
What model of My Passport SSD are you using?
Does it have the WD Unlocker (VCD) seen in Windows File Explorer?
Have you downloaded WD Security? Can WD Security see the My Passport SSD?
Are you using Memory Zone v2.1.5(39)?

Have you checked our knowledge base articles?

Hi, thank you for your response.
My Passport SSD model is WDBAGF0020BSL. I read articles, followed the instructions but it didn’t help. The device is supposed to be compatible with Memory Zone, I double checked also in the link that you’ve sent.

The drive itself offers to Install Discovery for Windows, but no matter what I do - installation fails.
I don’t see WD Unlocker.
WD Security - according to answer ID 50696 it seems not compatible to My Passport SSD, so I did not download it.

Anyway, I read on the articles that it won’t be supported as of July 31st and therefore the recommendation is to download Memory Zone.

My Memory Zone version is 2.1.5, just downloaded it yesterday.

I will open a support case.

Thanks for your information! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
