I have a oldish 500Mb ext HDD. It comes up on DRIVES as WD Ext HDD 1021 USB Device. I can’t access it all, the Power/Data led flashes sometimes, comes on when I plug the USB lead in and goes off when shut down the PC. Does it need a new driver update ( how is this done ? Haven’t seen any driver downloads ), or is there something else wrong. I have some important photos on the HDD (does’nt everyone ? ) so I would want to retrieve the contents. Any ideas? Help would be appreciated.
