check system infomation Serial ATA to see what SATA chipset is used. It will also tell you the SATA generation. if you ahve Nvidia MCP79 sata chipset use the firmware at the top of this board r211m. this will make sure it will work at SATA 3Gb instead of SATA 1.5. other than that you will only get the full speed of you ahve SATA 6Gb chipset and that is not going to happen on MAC manufactured in 07.
