Hi!
I recently bougt a Sandisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash drive.
I never saw a led flashing when transferering files etc.
Does it have a led for its status?
I thought that all sandisk USB-sticks had led, at least all mine have had one.

no it does not have an LED. several of the newer SD flash drives do not have LEDs.

The absence of a led isn’t to big of an issue for me.
However, to rule out the possibility of a faulty drive is nice.

How did you get the solution?
I love the old Cruzer Fit model, maybe it’s usb 2.0 slow but it is the smallest functional usb 2.0 drive ever made, even some pieces of this model still have a beautiful orange led that discreetly blinks only when you are writing on it, but then they removed the led, I’ve find 2 sealed 64gb of this model and they don’t have the led 
so I keep my 2 old pieces with led light (one 16gb and other 64gb) as a small treasure
