Okay so,
Obviously, all of my photos and videos on my phone are organised by when they were taken. However, the issue occurs when I transfer the photos from my iPhone to my PC. After putting all of the photos and videos into my files, they seem to be completely random and out of order (literally no order whatsoever).
So like I say, the media should be organised in a format such as: September 1st, September 2nd, September 3rd, etc etc (for example, assuming I take 1 photo per day in September).
However, for whatever reason, it actually appears more like this: September 23rd, September 9th, September 28th, September 19th, September 2nd, September 3rd, etc… It is completely out of order.
I tried using the ‘sort by’ feature within file explorer and tried every option, including sorting by date created, but nothing fixed the problem… Is there any reason this is happening or is there any way I can fix it please? It is quite important as I need to back these photos and videos up onto my PC for work. Has been happening for the past couple of years I’ve been using this.
