Intentionally prevent drive access between backups

I have a 6TB Elements used ONLY for backups with Macrium Reflect the first thing every morning.
After it concludes, I would like to prevent Windows (11) or any other program from accessing the drive until the next back up. Does anyone have a good solution to automate that?

To block access to your drive after backups, you can use USB Disk Ejector or a PowerShell script to eject it automatically. Another option is to disable the drive using a PowerShell command. You could also disconnect it physically using a USB hub with a power switch. Additionally, check if Macrium Reflect has an option to eject the drive after completing the backup.
