I'm *certain* this is not in the right area, but...

I’m brand new here (as of about 12 minutes ago), so pls forgive my errors. I would have posted this under Community, but (maybe b/c I’m brand new?) the “new post” option was grayed out over there.

I’ve found lots of info on using SanDisk flash drives with my iPhone or iPad, no problems there. But now I’m backing up some files from my MacBook Pro laptop, and I haven’t found anything about a SanDisk app or utility that will work on my laptop. I can copy files from my laptop onto the plugged-in SanDisk flash drive, but I wonder if there is any SanDisk app that would help with that process. TIA for your advice on this (and your patience for steering it to the right location).

Hi @zenmom42
SanDisk doesn’t have a specific app for Backup.
For more advanced backup options, consider using Time Machine to back up your Mac to an external drive, or look into third-party backup software that supports external drives.
