Hello,

I have switched from a PC with XP to a new  I MAC.  I want to use MY PASSPORT on my MAC.  This is the same drive I used on my old PC.  When I plugged the drive into my MAC I could see the contents of the drive but could find only bits and pieces of my data.  Also, the format was very confusing and does not appear as it did on my PC.  

Should I try to load all the data onto my MAC and then reformat the drive?  How do I find all my data?

Back up all of your data from your MyPassport external drive to either PC or Mac computer first.
